To what extent has traditional COVID-19 data impacted on our behaviour and emotions?

​

My research takes creative pattern cutting and sewing techniques out of a fashion context, into an art space via cartography, projection and sculptural 3D data visualisations, representational of COVID-19 death rate data.

​

The intention is to explore alternative ways for audiences to experience and process data via tangible learning, potentially leading to increased empathy and public understanding.

​

I am interested in how unconventional data formats might evoke new perspectives, emotions and behaviours.
